Lady Devin Brugman is one of the top reining queens of 2022 on Instagram. With her illustrious uploads she's amassed over 1.5 m loyal users and has lent her physical talents to more bikini shoots than you could ever remember. Devin was born in Oakland, CA but moved to Maui, when she was 4. Being raised in Maui was an amazing experience, but “island fever” can get the best of anyone. Graduating high school early and moving to LA when at the age of 17 was no easy task. As a model since the age of 18, her beloved new home has provided her with numerous opportunities. Drawn to Southern California by the energy of the city and the optimism of the people there, 2020 will continue to be another great year for this buxom beauty. Please explain to our readers What is "Bikini A Day"?

''A Bikini A Day'' started as an Instagram page that Natasha and I created but has quickly grown into a full-fledged business all surrounding our love for bikinis. It works like this- We upload a picture of either Tash or myself in a new bikini everyday and explain what we love most about it. Our followers can get their daily dose of bikinis and see Tash or myself in a new suit everyday

How did the idea come about?

We soon became known as the “bikini girls” because we uploaded bikini pictures regularly on our personal Instagram accounts. As our followers grew we recognized how much they loved our bikini shots. Our obsession with bikinis and the demand for more pictures came together to create 'A Bikini A Day.'

What are some obstacles you deal with on a regular basis?

Keeping balanced is definitely an obstacle I deal with on a regular basis. I am a full time student studying business at Mount St. Mary's College. It can be hard to balance work and school. With all the new exciting stuff happening with A Bikini A Day it is hard for me not to put all my time and energy into the business.

What is the best city you've been to?

Monaco, France. I went when I was 15 and have been dying to get back. I loved so many parts of France but Monaco took my breath away. It is such a beautiful, clean and exciting city. That city is full of big money and seeing it all in action is fascinating.

How important is style when it comes to representing who you are? Why?

Style is really important because it is a way of expressing yourself. What you wear and how you carry yourself is how you are representing YOU. That is really important. We live in a society that unfortunately is quick to make judgments on physical characteristics alone. That first impression can say a lot, and with personal style you can give people a taste of who you are before even talking to them.

What's the biggest grooming mistake a guy can make?

Using hair gel/product. Keep it natural boys. On eveything!

What is the biggest turn on in a guy?... turn off?

Turn on: A manly man. I love a guy who isn't afraid to get their hands dirty. I am from Hawaii so I'm used to boys who can ramble 4 wheelers, go hunting, and change their own oil lol Turn off: A guy who asks too many questions…. Where do you want eat? What movie do you want see? Is this okay? Yaddah yaddah....This can be annoying- sometimes a girl just wants a guy to take control and make decisions without hesitation.

Who should pay on the first date?

The guy. Always.

Favorite dish?

My current favorite... Pasta!

How would you describe your style in 3 words?

Relaxed. Sexy. Classic

What is your favorite hobby?

I love to blog. It's fun and is a great source of inspiration for me. My tumblr is dirtydisposition.tumblr.com if you wanna check it out.

If you could work with any celebrity, who would it be?

James Franco. He is my ultimate celeb crush. He's got a great sense of humor and he's hot.

What do you think are the biggest trends in swimwear right now?

So, I think that I've been seeing this everywhere. It's Millennial and Gen Z fashion coming and trickling into the swimwear industry. Everyone's bringing that in. And, and I think it's fun and playful. I love it, and it's a little bit funky. When it comes to swimwear, and like my personal style, I do tend to keep it more neutral. So it's interesting to see people having so much fun with like these wild prints and bright colours.

Another huge trend that I'm seeing is the way that people are incorporating all this matching clothing and turning it into swim. Like they'll do little mini low rise swim skirts or a little mini top that matches the swim. You know, head scarves and matching bags, and everything's matching. I think that's super cute.

Another trend that I've been seeing lately is a lot of asymmetrical pieces. So we actually have a couple pieces that we just came out with a few months ago. We did a one-shoulder one piece and then a one-shoulder top. Some other trends that I've been seeing is the evolved triangle top. You'll probably have seen this all over Instagram, but people are wearing a triangle top in non-traditional ways. You're making the straps really long and tying it around. They're tying it all different ways so it's kind of like a new take on the classic triangle which I think is really fun.

What's your personal favourite style at the moment? What are you wearing?

The reason why I love Monday Swimwear so much is because I finally have found something and I've created something that I can wear that's an underwire. Monday really kills it in the underwire sexy styles. You know having such a large cup size like throughout my life, I could never really find an underwire top that didn't look like a maternity bra. I love that Monday incorporates sexy underwire styles for diverse cup sizes. We have a really, really cute new style. It's called the Isla Mujeres top and bottom. And it's a really subtle underwire. And it has two thin straps that they tie at the shoulders. I'm so obsessed with that style. It's so cute.

What's your favourite way to style your swimwear?

I love to do like a full monochromatic look. Let's say I'm wearing you know an ivory, super skimpy, like triangle bikini. I'll usually pair it with one of our shirts. I love the La Jolla beach shirt. I like to do like a big open shirt or we have a Barcelona tunic. It's like a really flowy linen tunic. And then I like to also do a sarong. It feels very drapey and it feels very relaxed, but it also looks really classy and chic. So that's always kind of my go to.

What's the one's swimwear style that you think universally suits everyone?

I personally think that you can't really go wrong with the classic triangle. And I think that's why it's like stood the test of time, and why it's lasted so long. And there's so many different variations of that triangle.

With Monday, I know that there's a lot of people that have larger cup size that wear our swim, and they don't want to wear that really skinny, thin strap, because it can hurt your neck, and it's not as supportive. Ours are really supportive. But then we also did like a take on that classic triangle, and we did thicker straps, and it's super comfortable. It's really supportive. It's beautiful. I just think that's going to be sexy forever. I think it looks good on all body types. I think it looks good on all cup sizes. So yeah, I probably just say the classic triangle.

Who are your role models?

My parents are both my biggest role models. My mom and dad have been together for 25 years and are both amazing individuals. My mom, a former model, is an amazing mother and one of the most kind and understanding people I know. I can tell her anything and she is my best friend. My dad, who got his MBA, is a huge role model for me. I am studying business in school so he has been really helpful in motivating my studies. I also get my silly side from him. He is an amazing father and husband to my mom. Their marriage is beautiful and is a great model for my relationships.

What is a obstacle that you have faced in the past and what did you do to get around this obstacle?

A bad break up. Sticking with girlfriends and staying true to my values got me through it.
